With a family background in horticulture and being an artist at heart,Carole pursued a career as a landscape designer. “When I went into landscape design, that became my art. The land was my canvas, and the plants were my paints.”

She developed a passion for daylilies during her years as a landscaper and began hybridizing them in 2010.

Carole will discuss hybridizing for rebloom in the north, four season landscaping, and a brief history of daylilies.
